How To Join Indian Air Force For Females

Joining the Indian Air Force requires courage and dignity, as well as a strong desire to serve the country. Many students wish to join the Indian Air Force, but are confused how to do so after completing their 12th grade. There are several ways to learn how to join the Indian Air Force after 12th grade. Candidates should be informed that a career in the Indian Air Force is not limited to fighter aircraft piloting; there are other branches such as flying, technical, and ground operations.

Candidates who want to join the Indian Air Force must take the AFCAT test. The Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interviews the candidates who have been shortlisted. Candidates must pass medical examinations after successfully completing the interview process. They can join the Indian Air Force after passing the test.

AFCAT has three branches: Flying Branch, Technical Branch, and Non-Technical Branch.

Flying Branch

Flying fighter planes, helicopters, cargo planes, and other aircraft will be part of the flying branch. To be considered for this post, a candidate must have a B. Tech/B.E. degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks. In the 12th grade, math and physics are also required. Female applicants with an Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ qualification are eligible to apply immediately for the position.

Ground Service (Technical Branch)

This post is open to female engineering students between the ages of 20 and 26.

Ground Service (Non-Technical)

Female graduates and postgraduates between the ages of 20 and 26 years old are eligible to apply.

After 12th Science, you must take an admission exam based on PCB courses. You will have the opportunity to train as a doctor and serve in the Armed Forces. You can work as a physiotherapist etc.
